We are a group based around Essex and we try and use as much original kit as possible so to have an authentic World War 2 display. We beleive that to there is no point in having original clothing and equipment if it is locked away and never displayed for the enjoyment and satisfaction of the public and especially the veterans who fought and indeed, some died in.
After collecting miltary items for so many years we decided to put it to good use and start a group. Vetran's have said that seeing the original kit being worn the way it was, really brings history back to life.
